From a surprise during corona to a platform where thousands of people share beautiful moments
A surprise of great proportions
Nathalie, together with her husband Maarten, form the team behind Wens on Web. During the Corona crisis, their parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and they wanted to surprise them in an original way.
Nathalie immediately thought that a website with wishes would be nice, and for a moment a Facebook page was considered. However, with a web designer in the family, it was quickly decided that it would be a website 😊
Friends and family were sent a link and on the day itself (hooray bubble of 6) big sister Annelies came by to "together" give the gift. They received a riddle from which they could derive the domain name and found the password on a drawing from the grandchildren.
“Via facetime, Nathalie (from Limburg) was able to follow everything. Tears rolled and there was a lot of laughter. Everyone was emotional and the reactions were so wonderful that it would have been a shame to let this idea go.”
